Coconut Oil … 5 Ways

Hey hey welcome back to Wonderlife World! Ok so I’m a little late to the bandwagon with this one, but lately I have been loving coconut oil, I picked up the organic raw coconut oil for $4.95 from Aldi because I was looking for a new makeup remover that was a little bit gentler on my skin during the Autumn / Winter months & OMG this stuff is magic. It starts off solid but with the warmth of yours hands it turns into an oil, it moisturises your skin and it’s natural!

So here are 5 ways to use coconut oil besides cooking with it:

1. A MAKEUP REMOVER:

All you have to do is scoop out a little bit & with the warmth of your hands it will turn into an oil that you can massage on your face, it truly does melt your makeup including waterproof mascara which is usually a pain in the As# to get off at the end of the day, then just get a warm face cloth and wipe away the oil. Leaving your skin feeling soft as anything!!!

2. POST WAX BALM:

The other night i waxed my upper lip (come on you have a little stache too) and got rid of the little hairs on my face & because i use the pre – made wax strips sometimes it leave a little bit of residue on the skin so instead of using the wipes that they give you (Which i had run out of!!!) I used coconut oil and just removed it with a tissue. It works SO MUCH BETTER and soothes the skin making the redness go down alot quicker.

3. EXFOLIATER:

To do this just mix the oil with a little bit of brown sugar and scrub away all your   worries !!! leaving your skin silky and smooth!!

4.SHAVING:

This is a really good tip because the coconut oil is extremely moisturising so when your skin is a little dryer in the winter this definitely helps with that plus it allows for a closer shave because its just an oil meaning smoother legs.

5.CHAPPED LIPS:

winter = dry lips for me which means I go on the hunt for a lip balm that can combat these chapped winter lips, its so nourishing and if I put it on like 1/2 an hour before i put liquid lipsticks on then my lips don’t feel as dry but still look matte!!

So if you love smelling like a bounty bar then your should 100% try including coconut oil in your routine!!! if you do let me know in the comments and don’t forget to give this post a like for more x
